During the exposure visit to Sirsi, Karnataka, Mr. Raju M. Sangma expressed his learnings how jackfruit can be effectively transformed into value-added products like chips, flour, candy bars, and juice through teamwork, dedication, and a scientific approach. Seeing the success of the cooperative society there was both eye-opening and inspiring, especially their unity and systematic way of working. This experience has motivated him to replicate similar efforts in our own village through the Era Aning IVCS. I am committed to sharing these learnings with his SHG members and encouraging more people to take part in such learning opportunities. With continued support from the Meghalaya Government and the MegLIFE project, “I believe we too can grow into a strong and successful cooperative.” he quoted.
