The SPMU #MegLIFE staff organized the first-ever three-day state-level workshop to strategize future plans, and set targets for upcoming activities, while also strengthening team bonds. The event aimed to acknowledge the hard work of staff and motivate them to strive for excellence in achieving project goals.

JIca Mission,25th-28th April,  2023,The JICA India Mission team comprising of mission members Mr. Vineet Sarin, Chief Development Specialist, Mr. Fujiwara Hidenobu, Representative, JICA, Ms. Sushma Adarshi, Development Specialist and Ms. Roopal Srivastava, Project Officer JICA India is currently in Meghalaya from April 25th-28th, 2023, to review the progress of the MegLIFE project.

The 3-day JICA mission is in full swing! Day 1 saw the mission team, comprising of Ms. Inagaki Yukari, Project Formulation Advisor and Ms. Sushma Sen Adarshi, Development Specialist, engage in an inaugural review meeting at the SPMU MegLIFE Office, assessing the MegLIFE project's progress.

Ms. Inagaki Yukari and Ms. Sushma Sen Adarshi, representatives from JICA, had a 3-day visit over the weekend to review MegLIFE Project progress, including site visits to Thapa Dangre & Ajasiram villages. The team was warmly welcomed by community members along with Shri A.K. Singh, IAS, DC-cum-Chairman of MegLIFE NGH DPMU, & APD MegLIFE Shri Gunanka DB,IFS. The team engaged in community interactions, cultural performances and important discussions regarding progress of the project. The mission concluded with MegLIFE Awards 2024, recognizing staff dedication in rural development.
